It has been 504 years since Martin Luther publicly stated that every inhabitant of the country should read and do the Scriptures.
How did it all start? In 1517, a German Catholic monk and theologian, Martin Luther, outraged by the widespread trade in indulgences, decided to hold a theological debate over whether a sinful soul could be saved for money, as the pope and the Roman curia argued. According to Luther, this contradicted Scripture.
He believed that a sinful person who truly believed in Almighty and perfect God through the Blood of Jesus Christ becomes righteous in the eyes of the Most High, that is, no indulgences need "justification" or "forgiveness of sins" for money and is solely God's grace. from human deeds or righteous deeds.
According to Luther's unshakable conviction, this and nothing else is the foundation of the Christian faith. It follows that man can and should turn to his Creator directly through prayer and does not need intermediaries.
Martin Luther was the first, but God raised the revival throughout Europe and his significant contribution was made by such reformers as John Wycliffe, Ian Gus, Jean Calvin, John Knox, George Fox and others. All these people paid a high price for the truth and freedom to come into the lives of all people
